Reconnecting

My handsome husband took me out for a Date Night last night.

And he took me to a new Mexican restaurant that he's been dying to take me to.

We needed a night out to relax, especially if the chickenpox are about to take out all 4 of our kiddos. I needed to recharge my batteries and reconnect with my love.

I really don't like this picture of me but I was hungry and didn't feel like trying to take another.

So there it is, folks, enjoy my crappy picture! haha

Besides, it's rare to get a photo of Antonio actually smiling.

The restaurant was amazing!

It was a small little place but packed to the gills!

And we quickly found out why:

the host and our waitress were both super nice

their house mariachi band was AMAZING

and the food was DELICIOUS!!

Seriously, that band walked around and sang Black Magic Woman and Ring of Fire....we wanted them to play a Tigres del Norte song (one of Antonio's favorite bands) but we just missed them as they were leaving our section to go play for the rest of the restaurant.

They even did tableside guacamole!

Sara, I think you'll be amused to know that I let her put half of the cilantro cup into the guac.

But it was still too much.

I hate cilantro.

I got a burrito meal and Antonio got tacos.

Everything was perfect!

On the way home, we picked up milkshakes for these 4 adorable kids that we know.....

::wink wink::

And that was our Friday night....

Can't wait til our next Date Night!!
