Sunburn Blisters?!

I'm coming at you with another natural remedy!

Now, I don't know how this works on any other person or in any other circumstance, but in my opinion, you should definitely commit this little tip to memory.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to show you, so you're just going to have to take my word for it on all of this.

The other day, my boys all got sunburned.

Not horribly but it was slightly painful for them.

Yesterday, they weren't in any sunburn pain and their burns had mostly faded to tans, so I felt okay taking them over the new house for a few minutes to play with their new Nerf guns while I checked on any progress the workers had gotten done.

It was after 5 pm.

I didn't think that the sun was going to be too much of an issue, to be honest.

They had only been playing for a half hour or so when Levi came running into the house to use the bathroom. That's when I noticed something on this back and shoulders that hadn't been there earlier.

Upon closer inspection, I realized that they were teeny tiny...blisters!

Oh my gosh!!

I quickly rounded everyone up immediately to go home.

I was racking my brain trying to think of what would be my best bet for treating his poor little body.

I had aloe gel with lidocaine in the refrigerator.

I had a few bottles of unfiltered/unpasteurized apple cider vinegar.

But then my mind drifted to the container of chamomile tea that I had in the refrigerator that was left over from when I was treating the lump under my eye this past weekend.

I use the actual dried leaves and flowers and stems, not bagged chamomile, which makes it ultra potent.

And it was cold from being in the refrigerator a few days.

As soon as we got home, I soaked a washcloth in it, wrung it out and then put it on his back.

Within an hour or so of it being on his back, the blisters were almost GONE!

Today, you can't even tell that they were there at all!

So the next time you are dealing with a bad sunburn or sunburn blisters, give cold chamomile tea a try!

Why it works:

Chamomile tea provides a plethora of benefits....such as anti-inflammatory, soothing, antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial.

So not only is it going to soothe the pain, it will help with the inflammation and keep it clean.

Wins all around!

So be sure to try that out the next time you get a sunburn and let me know how it works for you!!
