Manifesting 101

As a witch, I am a huge proponent manifesting.

We hear a lot of talk about manifesting in todays culture. Both in the magickal community as well as in the land of normal people. It's even heavily encouraged in the religious sector.

But I also think there are some big misconceptions regarding how manifesting works.

In case you don't know, manifesting is when you basically believe something into being.

Maybe it's a great new job.

A bigger house.

Meeting the love of your life.

An inground swimming pool.

Healing from an illness.

Whatever your desire is, manifesting makes it happen.

I take a more magickal approach to manifesting but the basics of it work the same across the board:

You have to believe it's already yours.

That is absolutely key: if you don't believe it, it's not happening.

When you are manifesting, don't ask for what you want. Instead, try this: tell the Divine/God/Universe thank you for giving it to you. Like it's already yours. You see what I mean? The Universe LOVES gratitude!

Everything in this world is made of energy. And like attracts like. You want your energy to match the amazing things you desire, so that, like a magnet, your energy pulls it in.

But another important thing to remember is that once you set your manifestation intentions...go do what you need to do to bring it home. And the magick will help reinforce your actions.

For example...let's say that I am manifesting a house.

Okay?

So after I do my candle magick spell or my vision board (or whatever I have chosen to do), I can't just sit at home on my couch waiting for my new house to come and knock on my door.

I have to get out there! I have to do the work...such as...

Beginning getting my documents in order

Begin looking at real estate pages

Drive around looking at houses for sale

And don't forget to be grateful the whole time....if you pray, be sure to thank God every day for your new house "with the white wraparound front porch and vegetable garden in the back".

And watch how you begin manifesting!

I recommend keeping a manifestation journal to keep track of all of the things you have manifested. I personally keep a gratitude journal...and write the things that I am grateful for. Even the things that I don't have just yet but I am manifesting. Months later, I can go through my older entries and I'm amazed at all of the things that came to be once I began purposely manifesting them!

Tell me...do you manifest?

What is your favorite method of manifesting?
